Excellent article. Your take is spot-on. Let's look at Bure's announcement from a purely business perspective. First, she has joined a new network that is relatively unknown by most viewers. So, the announcement signals to fans that they can find her content at this new place you may not have heard of. Second, her dog whistle about "family, tradition, and religion" indicates to the Christian evangelists or RINO (Religious in name only) Christians that this network will be a safe space. Finally, she injects more energy into the US vs THEM right-wing anthem. "Democrats are pedophiles, LGBTQ people are deviants and devil worshipers, and minorities are destroying your culture."

I never heard of the GAF network until Bure began her campaign. To me, her intolerance works on two levels. She reinforces the "I'm better than you because of my faith" message and, more important, she juices the ratings for her network. It's all about the money. She has forgotten that in all four gospels, Jesus cast out the money changers from the temple.
