Terrific review - detailed and on point. The movie shows that filmmaking is about human dynamics as it is about creativity. You have Harlin, Davis, King, solid supporting actors and a gorgeous location and still the film flops. Your analysis hits its mark. I still remember the V8 juice controversy. It was in Premiere magazine back then, which was a wonderful movie magazine.
