What a fabulous article. I love your tone - playful and cynical! You made a lot of excellent points, especially about the double standard. I thought Joan Rivers is one of the few women who could embrace age- defying surgery but in such a self-deprecating way that she winked at her fans. Of course until it tragically killed her.
